BA required- however entry level Law is fine. Training Provided.

What's in it for you?

1 st shift: 8:00am to 5:00pm

Monday-Friday

Weekly pay (Every Friday).

Project 4-5 weeks temparary Assignment.

Competitive pay up to $28.00hr

Offering a $500 completion bonus for anyone who successfully sees the project through.

What you'll be doing:

  • Manage case dockets and update KCC public access websites as documents are filed with the court

  • Respond to telephonic and email creditor inquiries regarding case status, claim deadlines, solicitation, voting procedures and disbursements

  • Manage and log case voicemails

  • Perform internet research for creditor noticing information

  • Coordinate, input and review ballots, changes of address and proofs of claim

  • Prepare claim and solicitation binders for submission to the Court

  • Assist with mailings including compilation of service lists and preparing affidavits of service

  • Review contracts for noticing information, terms, effective and termination dates

  • Administrative quality control review of proofs of claim and ballots including creditor and notice party addresses

  • Work closely with Restructuring team to ensure all client needs are met in a timely fashion

  • Other duties as assigned by Management

Who were looking for:

  • Ability to quickly learn and navigate proprietary software and applications

  • Solid attention to detail

  • Strong written and verbal communication

  • Proficiency with Microsoft office suite including but not limited to Excel and Outlook

  • One to two years of related office experience (i.e. legal, paralegal, finance or accounting) and/or related training a plus but not required

  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university
