Position Objectives

As the Manager of Safety and Compliance, you will ensure that we go above and beyond the standard for regulatory and state requirements. You will also work alongside the Learning and Development team on projects that overlap with employee training and development.

What you will do:

· Lead the Safety and Compliance team in a manner that is organized, responsible, collaborative, and supportive

· Ensure documentation is thoroughly monitored and maintained

· Respond to operational management’s questions and needs

· Ensure compliance with established company, airlines, and airport requirements regarding safety and security policies.

· Actively engage in all people processes in close partnership with centralized HR and Training departments.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of success in Safety, compliance, security, or a related field

  • Experience with airline specific audits related to standards that include IATA, FAA, state, and airport regulations would be beneficial.

  • Advanced knowledge of safety and operational management, auditing, policy development, document management and reporting

  • Excellent writing and communication skills, including formal presentations/content creation for learning objectives.

  • Ability to pass background check and hold Airport ID with CBP access approval (Customs Seal).

  • Ability to travel, when needed, at various stations (<20% of time)

  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including database and spreadsheet programs

  • Willingness to work in-office Monday to Friday
