Responsibilities Front desk duties include juggling multiple patients at the same time and a fast-paced environment Initiates surgery scheduling process upon request for surgery from physicians/medical assistant Helps with clearance chasing as needed Prioritizes and coordinates logistics with hospital, insurance company, physician and patient to schedule surgery according to resource availability and urgency Maintains effective communication with patients and providers regarding surgeries Documents all processes and interactions Contributes to other shared teams tasks such as hospital add-ons, fax inbox, recalls, call backs, covering a teammates desk while out, etc Maintains reliable attendance, punctuality, and productivity during work shift Demonstrates respectful, professional, and appropriate behavior that supports a team-oriented work environment Follows company policies, procedures, and values to contribute to company culture
