Position Description:

A Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center El Paso graduate student enrolled in one of the MS degree programs for at least six semester hours. Prior experience in research is not required but eligible students should have strong interest in biomedical research and aptitude to learn modern research techniques. A student employed to perform work as assigned by the supervisor.

  • Conduct laboratory research under the direct of senior staff or Faculty.

  • Assists with equipment maintenance and ordering lab supplies, including verification of goods or services upon receipt.

  • Analyze and present research results in lab meetings, conferences, speaking engagements, and events.

  • Write technical reports or posters for presentations.

  • Other duties as assigned to ensure smooth operation of research laboratory and to facilitate the conduct of approved research studies.
