Position Description:
Performs central accounting and financial analysis functions according to established procedures.

Major/Essential Functions:
Review and approve requisitions submitted to ensure compliance with Institutional Policies and State purchasing regulations.
Develop and execute request for proposals and bids.
Provide instruction and guidance on the Purchasing process to end users.
Adhere to all TTUHSCEP policies, procedures and processes.
Personally demonstrate, display, and act in accordance with TTUHSCEP’s values (Service, Respect, Accountability, Integrity, Advancement, and Teamwork). Actively promote and encourage staff across the institution.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience using ERP or e Procurement software systems, 3+ years.
Knowledge of purchasing and procurement methods and procedures, preferable in state procurement principles and practices.
Must be willing to obtain and maintain professional certification in purchasing and within one year of employment.
