Experience:

Education: High School Diploma /GED is required per policyBachelor's degree in counseling, psychology, social work, human resources, or a related field (preferred). Language:

  • English required (Spanish is a plus) to communicate with clients and staff. Bilingual preferred

Driver's License:

  • Not required for this position

Duties: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Career Navigator to join our team. The Career Navigator will serve as a guide and mentor to individuals seeking career guidance and support, helping them explore career options, develop skills, and navigate the job market effectively.

  • Conduct one-on-one career counseling sessions with clients to assess their skills, interests, and career goals.
  • Assist clients in exploring career pathways and identifying potential job opportunities based on their strengths and interests.
  • Provide guidance and support in developing career plans, setting achievable goals, and creating action steps to achieve them.
  • Offer resources and referrals for education, training programs, and professional development opportunities.
  • Assist clients with resume writing, cover letter preparation, job search strategies, and interview skills.
  • Help clients develop networking skills and connect with professionals in their desired fields.
  • Stay informed about labor market trends, industry demands, and emerging job opportunities.
  • Collaborate with other service providers and community organizations to enhance support services for clients.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, progress, and outcomes.
  • Participate in professional development activities to enhance knowledge and skills in career counseling and workforce development.

Shift: 8am - 5pm Monday - Friday
