UNIVERSITY MECHANICAL & ENGINEERING CONTRACTORS Assistant Project Manager in El Cajon, California

The Assistant Project Manager forthe San Diego CA location has the following dutieswhich include safety of UMEC field personnel assigned to the projects, field labor productivity, quality assurance and coordination, project financial projections and reporting, material, and equipment procurement, change order management, owner/client relations, project cash flow, and personnel management. Comply with all company operating policies, procedures, executed plans, and programs. Other duties may be assigned.

Compensation Range: $91,520 - $104,000

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. PREFERRED EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

To perform this job successfully, the individual must have 5-7 years construction work-related experience and/or bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management and be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. COMPUTER SKILLS

Able to effectively operate the following computer software programs - Microsoft (Excel, Word, Project, Access, and Powerpoint), Bluebeam Revu PDF editing, Vista-Viewpoint (Project Management and Accounting Software), and Quotesoft Estimating Software.
