Description

We are working with a construction company in El Cajon on a Project Accounts Receivable Administrator Opportunity!! This company is extremely employee centric, covers 100% of employee's premium benefits and is a looking to grow their team!

The role primarily involves overseeing the billing process for construction projects, managing accounts receivable, and ensuring compliance with company policies.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the billing process for construction projects, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

• Coordinate with project managers and construction teams to verify billing information and resolve discrepancies.

• Monitor and manage accounts receivable aging reports to ensure timely collection of outstanding payments.

• Implement and maintain effective billing procedures and internal controls to ensure compliance with company policies.

• Develop and document detailed procedures and protocols for all accounts receivable functions, including billing and compliance processes.

• Address and resolve any billing issues or disputes with clients in a professional manner.

• Collaborate with the accounting team to reconcile accounts and ensure accurate financial reporting.

• Stay updated on industry trends and changes in billing and insurance compliance regulations to ensure best practices are followed.

• Assist in the preparation of audits related to accounts receivable, insurance, and compliance requirements.

• Develop and implement strategies to improve billing efficiency and reduce days sales outstanding (DSO).

Requirements

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Experience in Billing, Cash Applications, Cash Collections, and Commercial Collections

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy

• Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information

• Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks

• Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous.
