General Electric Validation engineer II-HC in Eindhoven, Netherlands

Role Summary:

Analyze workflows, identify validation gaps and design validation solutions for existing equipment and develop new equipment.

Essential Responsibilities:

Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop verification and validation plans and timelines that deliver quality product on time

  • Support Engineering Department with development of validation documentation for projects

  • Work with team to prioritize work, manage workload, remove obstacles and meet deadlines

  • Ensure testing is performed on supported platforms for the project and that all validation needs are met

  • Provide updates to manager, V&V team, cross-functional team and program lead

  • Generate reports and metrics on progress and trends

  • Produce validation reports at each milestone

  • Encourage process improvement and facilitate change

Quality Specific Goals:

  • Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position

  • Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines

  • Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required

  • Knowledge and understanding of document control, verification, validation, acceptance activity, requirements to ensure compliance to validation, design and production requirements


  • Masters degree in scientific field and/or equivalent knowledge/experience

  • Experience in an GMP regulated industry

  • Dutch and English are mandatory, must understand technical oral/written

  • Project and time management skills

  • Excellent spoken and written communication

Desired Characteristics:

  • Knowledge of 5S

  • Knowledge of Lean manufacturing
