Philips Service Designer in Eindhoven, Netherlands
In this role, you have the opportunity to
Accelerate service thinking within Philips by delivering meaningful service propositions that impact people’s lives. A Service Designer naturally understand the bigger picture of a solution and how different touchpoints and people interact through the whole service flow. To extend our team we are looking for a service designer with experience in a true service environment like banking, insurance or airlines. As service designer you are a strong advocate for the user and his experience and understand how service propositions translate into meaningful experiences and viable business models.
You are responsible for
Understanding people and healthcare context.
Using appropriate and effective research skills to increase domain knowledge and to inform meaningful and innovative solutions.
Helping to analyze required information to form a relevant understanding of context (domain, business, market, emerging contexts, related trends, target groups, etc.) and define and articulate relevant insights.
Articulating relevant and meaningful service propositions.
Helping to create surprising and relevant scenarios/ themes/ concepts/visions that explore potential or articulate a holistic brand experience, based on contextual understanding.
Collaboratively developing service blueprints that integrate user needs analysis (i.e. experience flows), multiple touch points and back-end service delivery systems, processes and capabilities.
Building prototypes that communicate ideas clearly and persuasively at an individual and group level.
Collaborating with business partners to design internal systems and processes, to manage and deliver multiple services.
Building relationships and appropriately influencing relevant internal teams and directing business contacts in the adoption of a human-centered approach to designing, building, and delivering services.
Developing stakeholder relationships and build networks to achieve short- and long-term goals.
You are a part of
The Service Design team, a group of service designers tasked with the development of meaningful healthcare solutions for our customers. The Service Design team is part of global 400+ design community and working on both business as research driven projects.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Bachelor or Masters degree in Service, Interaction, or related design field.
Ideally have 2+ years of relevant experience in the design field.
A good understanding of development processes.
You may have won award(s) or hold IP.
A strong ability to help visually simplify complex sets of data/situations.
Passionate about innovation.
An affection with healthcare and personal health.
Strong presentation, verbal and written skills.
Strong understanding of the value of design and brand.
