The ITS for Radiometer is responsible Radiometer are required to provide customer consultation on IT needs as well as installation, configuration, end-to-end testing, user training and ongoing support for our Point of Care (POC) IT solutions. Our POC-IT solutions enable Radiometer to sell Radiometer instruments and services, maintain market access for our blood gas and immunoassay business and strengthen our overall position within the hospital as a POC provider.

With limited hospital resources and increasing demands POC-IT solutions are vital for customers to maintain and expand their POC service. The hospital customers are increasingly demanding more complex IT system configurations, 3rd party POC device connectivity and custom solutions to address their specific POC-IT requirements.

The role covers all aspects of Radiometer POC-IT solutions from Pre-sales, demos, Sales, presentations, meetings, project management, implementation, installation and configuration, testing, training, ongoing system support and 1st/2nd line troubleshooting. As well as IT systems becoming more complex, they are also becoming more critical to customer workflows so prioritisation and time sensitive support is crucial.

The ITS Specialists role is expected to contribute directly to customer retention and sales growth through add-on device connections, module upgrades, consultancy work and custom projects directly impacting ITS revenue. ITS specialists are required to support both technical and commercial Radiometer activities.

Radiometer is continuing to grow in the field of POC-ITAs the IT function is very operative, the team should have a flat structure and all members must be able to carry out both the technical and the commercial tasks to the standard required by the customers.

This position is part of the ITS/service located in the BENELUX and the person will be required to travel around 30% of the time in the BENELUX region visiting Customer sites.

You will report to the Patrick Ten Have and will also support the sales and service teams.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Project management: Complete AQURE projects according to the specifications in the sales contract, internal projects ensuring we meet agreed project plans and scope

  • Supporting customers: Carry out routine upgrades, migrations, module upgrades, add-on device connections and ongoing troubleshooting for the AQURE installed base

  • Supporting Sales: Support the sales teams in mapping hospital IT processes and requirements, customer meetings, customer presentations and other relevant tasks in the sales process. Promote Radiometer products and services when appropriate during customer interactions

  • Teamwork: Work effectively with other Training and Implementation specialist or other colleagues to meet external and internal requirements

  • Customisation: Devise and implement custom solutions to meet customer requirements

  • Training: Deliver both internal and external customer training

  • Document: Record all actions appropriately in the CRM system, SharePoint and other ITS systems. Store documents and files as required on company networks and systems

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • University or HBO degree.

  • Experience in a commercial field-based role & Ability to adapt and develop technical solutions to meet customer requirements.

  • Competent in Project Management and planning skills.

  • Core technical skills in interfacing and software implementation, including experience with MS SQL Server, TSQL queries, data management protocols (HL7, ASTM, POCT1-A), programming/scripting (JavaScript and XML), and proficiency in MS Windows, MS Office, and MS Internet Information Server (IIS).

  • Proficiency in Dutch & English, and French is desirable.
