Intern Software Engineer

Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc., a world-class Engineering company, is seeking an ambitious and innovative Intern Software Engineer to join our Global Digital Group. As part of our R&D organization, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of software solutions that push the limits of current technologies, impacting various industries such as life science, material sciences, and semiconductors. By joining our team, you will play a key role in creating better vaccines, lighter and stronger materials, and more efficient semiconductors.

Responsibilities:

  • Improve existing software and develop new features

  • Explore new technologies and demonstrate their benefits to our software development

  • Collaborate with a scrum team to deliver high-quality software solutions

Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing an MSC degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Physics, or equivalent experience.

  • Basic programming skills in either C++, C#, or Python

  • Knowledge and interest in software engineering practices such as Agile and Scrum

  • Proven interest and knowledge of modern frameworks and relevant technologies

Location: Eindhoven
