Company Overview

ShalePro Energy Services, LLC is a natural gas service company that specializes in the operation of natural gas compressor stations, with expanded operations in oil field services including: pigging, well hands, light freshwater hauling, and field maintenance. ShalePro Energy Services, LLC is searching to fill the position of a Full Time Accounts Payable Position based in our Canonsburg, PA office.

Job Summary

Candidate will be full time in the Canonsburg, PA office. Will work closely with operations, management, and accounting groups throughout the companies 6 locations in PA, WV, & OH. A strong background with Oil & Gas construction is a plus for this position.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, and recording accounts payable data.

  • Working closely with procurement on reconciliation of purchase order differences.

  • Verify and investigate discrepancies, if any, by reconciling vendor accounts and monthly vendor statements

  • Assist with credit card entries and bank account reconciliation

  • Preparation of payments through Paymerang.

  • Understanding of expense accounts and cost centers

  • Assist in streamlining and improving the accounts payable process

    Qualifications and Skills

  • Experience with QuickBooks Desktop.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, & Adobe.

  • Understanding of basic principles of finance, accounting, and bookkeeping

  • Ability to prioritize and plan work activities to be effective and efficient in order to meet strict deadlines

  • Must be comfortable and effective working in an environment with constant changing demands, delays and responding to unexpected situations

  • Ability to maintain and protect confidential information.

  • Track record of reliability and dependability:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required; ability to maintain a high level of professionalism when interacting with all customers whether internal & external

  • Proven experience to thrive in a rapidly growing and changing organization.
