Olsten staffing is assisting a well-established client in the Effingham SC area in the search for an experienced and eager Finite Scheduler . The Finite Scheduler will focus on scheduling production for packing departments and scheduling all materials needed to create finish goods.

Pay rate:

Based on experience

Responsibilities:

• Schedule production for packaging department and the scheduling of all materials to create finished good.

• Requirements are to schedule up to a 14-day rolling schedule, manage/create scheduling metrics to include but not limited to adherence.

• Responsible for making sure company maintains inventory levels needed to support company goals

• Assist/ Lead changing to the current schedule systems

• Work directly with the director of packaging/ VP of supply chain, Purchasing team, & Sales teams MUST be able to communicate across all departments

• Able to use several types of data sets to make decisions on what items need to be scheduled, dates on when to schedule, quantities, line numbers that each item will be produced on

• Must be able to make scheduling decisions that will not hinder production run rates.

• Well organized with good planning skills

• Should have strong computer skills including excel spreadsheets/pivot tables/charts.

• Organize and lead weekly scheduling meetings

• May fill in as floor supervisors as needed

• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry, and working knowledge of how to build finite schedules

• The ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions

• Establishing achievable production schedules

• Must have previous experience operating as a finite scheduler

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills

Pay Details: $50,000.00 to $75,000.00 per year
