Musculoskeletal Transplant Foundation Talent Acquisition Partner in Edison, New Jersey

The Talent Acquisition Partner (TAP) will source, screen, and hire qualified candidates in accordance with MTF's business needs. The Talent Acquisition Partner is responsible for developing strong relationships with hiring managers to ensure understanding of the business units that they support (includes Research & Development, Quality Management, Regulatory Affairs and Administration (Finance, HR, IT). The Talent Acquisition Partner is required to build a network of qualified candidates and evaluate skills in relation to the position requirements. Reporting to the Manager Talent, this position will collaborate with the other Talent Acquisition Partners (TAP's), Human Resource Business Partners (HRBP's), and/or other functional areas within Human Resources to meet business objectives.

  • Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract, screen, and identify top talent.

  • Manage full -cycle recruiting process with a focus on strong hiring manager partnership and candidate advocacy.

  • Partner with client groups and the Manager, Talent to execute recruiting plans by creating effective job postings, screening candidates, and making recommendations to hiring managers in submitting a diverse slate of screened candidates for all openings.

  • Conduct timely and effective intake sessions with hiring manager to define hiring needs.

  • Develop effective prescreening questions and review resumes to match needs of the positon/organization as needed.

  • Use passive and direct sourcing techniques such as internet searching, LinkedIn tools, participating in and networking within associations, industry contacts, organizations, attending job/career fairs as a source to generate and develop a pool of qualified candidates.

  • Provide regular updates to the hiring manager, candidates and partner with Manager, Talent and HR Business Partners as needed.

  • Engage with third party vendors when required to expand the source of qualified, diverse candidates.

  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with college, university and community college placement offices as a source to generate qualified applicants.

  • Maintain the recruitment applicant tracking system, iCIMS.

  • Work on special projects as needed and perform additional duties as assigned.


Education: Bachelor's Degree

Years of Experience: 5 - 7 years

Specialized Knowledge, Technical Skills, and Abilities:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience recruiting for both exempt and non-exempt positions.

  • Demonstrated experience/knowledge with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), preferably iCIMS

  • Strong professional presence; proven ability to effectively work with internal hiring managers which includes excellent written and oral communication skills.

  • Demonstrated experience in taking initiative and solving problems from an influential position in the organization.

  • Strong consulting skills and negotiation ability is required

  • Demonstrated use of independent judgment and discretion in the delivery of recruitment services.

  • Self-motivated, confident and able to work effectively as an individual contributor while being a team player; consistently takes initiative, takes action, and has a ‘can do’ attitude.
