Overview

Pay: $23.34per hour

Sign-On Bonus $4,000 FT/ $3,000 PT ½ paid at 90 days, ½ at 180 days

Job responsibilities: Treat minor injuries and illnesses according to physician instructions and authorized per healthcare guidelines in compliance with government and company directives.

Essential functions:

  • Conduct cursory medical exams during students' first 48 hours on center.

  • Clean and dress wounds, operate emergency equipment, and provide follow up care.

  • Prepare and administer specified medications.

  • Perform routine lab tests in accordance with approved standards.

  • Review and audit all assigned areas regularly for contractual compliance and effectiveness of delivery of services to students. Prepare related reports.

  • Monitor students on bed rest in health and wellness center.

  • Enter required information in students health records.

  • Assist physician or mid-level health care provider as needed.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Valid, unrestricted LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) license in the state of employment

  • 1-year practical nursing experience required.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication, and computer proficiency required.

  • A valid driver license with an acceptable driving record.
