Provides Speech Therapy services to residents by assisting in the assessment and treatment, development and implementation of programs, and related professional in services. AFTERSCHOOLERS Location: Lower Valley Brownsville, San Benito, Harlingen, La Feria Location: Mid valley: Mercedes, Edcouch-Elsa, Weslaco, Donna ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING: * Provides Speech therapy services to clients under the supervision of a Speech Language Pathologist in accordance with state regulations. * Assists the Speech Therapist in the evaluation process as needed or directed. * Assists the Speech Therapist in identifying a problem list, short-term goals, long term goals and treatment plan. * Monitors client's response to intervention and consults with Speech Therapist if modification is indicated. * Assumes responsibility for ongoing continuing education and professional development. * Adheres to Speech Therapy Department procedures regarding documentation of * Physical Therapy services. * Provides treatment in accordance with established standards of practice, department procedures and productivity standards. * Records billable treatment times according to Speech Therapy Department procedures. * Assists with and participates in Quality Assurance Programs as required. * Performs other duties as assigned.   PTA Benefits: * Weekly pay * Direct deposit EDUCATION & QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: * Current license / registration by state of hire as an SLPA * Bilingual preferred but not required. * Current TB and CPR certifications * Excellent Customer Service and Support skills   We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and do not discriminate against applicants due to race, ethnicity, gender, veteran status, or on the basis of disability or any other federal, state or local protected class.
