Responsibilities DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Places customer orders. Maintaining store call frequency. Stocks, rotates and faces all products that are stocked. Rotates back stock in cooler. Monitor product rotation, using the oldest product first. Follow proper protocol if product becomes close-dated (destroy and write credit, notify Manager, etc). Maintaining proper shelf positions/location Utilizing point of sale material. Builds and merchandises product displays. Maintain good working relationship with all store personnel, sales staff, and office staff. Inform Sales Manager of any safety concerns, equipment issues, injuries or any other pertinent issues as soon as they arise. Perform other work related duties as assigned. Qualifications EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: High school diploma or G.E.D required. 20 hours/week. Must be willing to work weekends, and on/around holidays as requested by Manager. Outside sales experience is beneficial. Merchandising experience is preferred. Must be able to work in temperatures no colder than 38 degrees. Must be able to lift/carry up to 36 pounds Working well in a team setting, working efficiently, being customer service oriented and being safety conscious are essential requirements. Ability to establish priorities, meet deadlines, work independently, multi-task, and proceed with objectives with minimal supervision. Strong communication skills and high attention to detail PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
