Overview
Fairview Health Services is seeking BE/BC Psychiatrist to join our Psychiatry Consult Service at M Health Fairview Southdale Hospital in Edina, MN.
Practice Highlights:
Provide psychiatric evaluation and treatment for adult patients at a approx. 300 bed community hospital.
See approx. 6-8 patients per shift (new consults and follow-ups).
Provide occasional consultation in the on-site EmPATH and virtual consults at other M Health Fairview hospitals.
Collaborate with a Psychiatric Advanced Practice Provider on the service.
Full-time 1.0 FTE. Day shift. M-F. No weekends.
No weeknight or weekend call.

About M Health Fairview Southdale Hospital:
At M Health Fairview Southdale Hospital, patients and families have access to some of the area's most advanced medical services. These include a nationally recognized emergency heart attack program, state-of-the-art imaging services, a Birthplace for expecting parents, and our CORE program for heart failure and vascular disease management. M Health Fairview specialists see patients seven days a week here, and the hospital is also home to a Comprehensive Stroke Center. The hospital is also the location of Minnesota's first EmPATH mental healthcare unit.
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited ACGME Psychiatry residency training program.
Board eligible/certified with the ABPN
Licensed or ability to acquire medical license and DEA in the State of Minnesota and meet threshold criteria/qualifications for credentialing and privileges.
