Description Yorkshire of Edina, a Lifespark Senior Living Community is looking for a Director of Marketing to join our growing team! Are you compassionate towards others? Are you passionate about enriching the lives of others? If so, we want you to join our team and help seniors Age Magnificently! Our Director of Marketing becomes family and impacts the lives of our residents who live in a Lifespark Senior Living Community. In this position you will be responsible for analyzing, designing, developing, and implementing the community marketing plan to increase revenue. Additionally, this position requires ongoing evaluation of current practice and procedure within the marketing department and the discretion to make improvements as needed. Duties include: Develop and execute facility strategic marketing plan. Identify short term and long-term goals based on market research analysis. Research and develop new sales opportunities by identifying customer requirements, competitor strategy and approach, and forecasting. Make recommendations to improve overall facility business development strategy. Maintain relations with the community and customers. Create opportunities for public speaking events in the community while executing the marketing plan. Plan and execute all aspects of the sales process through taking inquiries, providing tours, and closing. Direct the promotion of all marketing materials in the community and manage the finances associated with individual campaigns. Review and adhere to departmental budget. Communicate information by writing articles, creating newsletters, posting bulletins, and any other form of advertising (i.e. posters, announcements, etc.) for employees, residents, tenants, families, and prospects. Educate medical professionals from within the community and surrounding areas on new projects and services that will be offered. Provide information to facility leadership by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends. Manage marketing database and drive all necessary follow up contact. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in sales and marketing, public relations, or advertising. Experience in healthcare is preferred. Ability to drive the success of multiple projects concurrently. Experience with using and developing multi-media campaigns. Exceptional telephone, communication skills and the desire to work closely with senior adults is essential. Must have proficient knowledge of computer systems, including email use.
