Position Description The Vice President of Global Marketing is responsible for the overall vision and strategy for the Bracco Medical Technologies (BMT) Marketing function and acting as strategic marketing business partner to the CEO.This person will provide strategic leadership, planning and direction to drive growth through strategic marketing initiatives of new and existing products across all current and future product portfolios. As part of the Executive Committee, this strategic leadership role will lead BMT business towards aggressive growth with a focus on identifying market opportunities and establishing direction to meet long-term goals. This position will promote and drive "upstream" product innovation and excellence through cross-functional collaboration for our portfolios in Cardiovascular, Diagnostic Imaging, Contrast Enhanced Ultrasound and Digital Health.The role will also be responsible for our global "downstream" marketing and value realization activities for the CV portfolio.Lastly, the role will be responsible for establishing and maintaining key relationships with cross-functional and cross-platform partners across the Bracco organization. Primary Duties & Responsibilities: Lead the development of the BMT global strategic plan including market environment assessment, opportunity analysis across Bracco's four platforms, roadmap development, cost competitiveness and life cycle management. Collaborate with executive leadership to define corporate objectives and long-range company planning. Partner with Research & Development to help define and communicate an innovative and robust product roadmap that aligns with long-term business objectives. Develop and leverage partnerships effectively with cross functional teams including Product Development, GCO, BDI, Quality, Operations, Service, and Regulatory to achieve business results. Drive marketing aspects of new product development on time, on budget, and with high quality and value. Define comprehensive voice-of-customer plan and identifies, develops and maintains effective collaboration with Key Opinion Leaders (KOL) within the Interventional Cardiology and Interventional Radiology spaces. Identify global market opportunities that ensure that Bracco's platform portfolios are positioned to drive local customer value and be differentiated from our competitors. Partner with CV Sales on developing and executing the marketing programs for continuing to build out the commercial organization in order to achieve strategic business goals and revenue plan. Lead and provide strategic direction to establish requirements for product and business development, market expansion, strategic upstream and downstream marketing, corporate branding and messaging and overall portfolio management. Partner with the Clinical Programs team to identify, assess and drive clinical study opportunities that provide value to the business and product positioning. Assess the commercial potential of research results and allocate resources to strategically expand and strengthen BMT's product offerings. Lead the Marketing organization through proactive communication, effective change management and strategy alignment. Drive accountability for corporate objectives, goals, directives, and policies across the Marketing team, creating a clear vision and positive, team-oriented environment. Create a culture of innovation and excellence in a fast-paced, lean environment. Recruit, hire, develop and manage Marketing professionals in order to effectively work through others to accomplish business goals and empower employee success. Ensure that all team resources are uti ized in an efficient and cost-effective manner to optimize Marketing activities. Drive systems implementation and adoption at BMT to secure integration and harmonization within the Bracco Group. Manage within BMT the process of Bracco Group policy adoption, local education and monitoring. Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities): Minimum Minimum of 15 years medical device commercial or product management experience with increased responsibility; may be in a variety of marketing positions. Minimum of 5 years leadership experience in medical device industry. Demonstrated ability to build a high performing team and achieve results through others. Experience leveraging Key Opinion Leader relationships. Ability to think ahead and plan over a 3+ year time span. Exceptional verbal, written and presentation skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interface, negotiate and influence multi-disciplinary teams and with different levels of personnel. Awareness and working knowledge of the global regulatory and reimbursement environments for medical devices. Moderate computer skills including Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint etc.. Building collaborative relationships across a global organization. Experience in effectively achieving results in a matrix environment. Strategic thinking Results orientation Preferred Experience in executive level role within a global organization. Experience at a large established medical device company in a commercialization role. Capital and consumable sales experience. Cross-functional Integration and process empowerment. Deep understanding of interventional cardiology and interventional radiology products and markets and their applications. Experience in both upstream product definition and downstream product development and execution in medical devices. Other Ability to travel internationally (periodically) and domestically (routinely). Travel requirements may exceed 30%.
