As the Project Manager, CCS Program Execution, you' will support the execution of existing Federal programs and growth opportunities. In this role, your expertise will build relationships across the program to make meaningful improvements and win new work that will positively impact our clients and improve health care delivery. Primary Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate and direct aspects of program execution and growth priorities to drive to effective and efficient solutions for our client and to keep internal leadership informed

  • Work within the CCS team and across OptumServe to ensure program projects and solutions are on track and in alignment with CCS strategic objectives

  • Support the oversight and management of requirements changes to ensure traceability of and control over key programmatic decisions

  • Ensure the escalation and resolution of operational issues and concerns

  • Align internal operations to contract requirements to support end-to-end accountability for program delivery and fulfilling our promise to our clients

  • Lead or help develop program or project scope statements, in consultation with applicable stakeholders (e.g. program/project charter, Statement of Work, Business Vision Document)

  • Work with resource managers to drive the identification of the skills, duration and effort required for successful project execution

  • Collect, analyze and maintain financial forecast information (e.g. labor, hardware, software), using input from applicable sources

  • Establish/apply quality objectives, criteria, standards and levels using appropriate quality management methods, with stakeholder input (e.g. key performance indicators, scope definition)

  • Develop, communicate and implement program/project risk/issue management plans and strategies (e.g. mitigation, avoidance, transfer, acceptance)

This role will challenge your ability to work on complex projects where deadlines and scope shift frequently. You'll need flexibility, agility and the ability to adapt to change while maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders in a highly cross-matrixed environment.

Required Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience

  • 5+ years of leadership / management experience

  • 3+ years of project management experience using data and information to make business decision

  • Experience supporting multi-faceted projects resulting in measurable successes

  • Demonstrated knowledge of Federal contracting and acquisition processes

  • Strong data management, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently

  • Proficient experience with Microsoft Office programs

  • Proficient in presentation development and drafting materials for executive briefings

  • Experience identifying and helping solve problems that impact the management and direction of the business

  • Ability to work with a diverse group of people/disciplines at all levels of an organization including the ability to present, persuade and provide professional presentation materials to both large and small groups

  • If you need to enter a work site for any reason, you will be required to screen for symptoms using the ProtectWell mobile app, Interactive Voice Response (i.e., entering your symptoms via phone system) or similar UnitedHealth Group-approved symptom screener. Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or another related field

  • PMP Certification

  • Experience in the healthcare industry

  • Federal Acquisition Regulation knowledge

  • Military and/or VA experience

Colorado Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $79,700 to $142,600. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
