C.H. Robinson, a Fortune 250 company is seeking a Procurement Operations Manager. In this role, you will plan and implement a Procure-to-Pay tool for ordering and invoicing approximately $140M in indirect spend. You will focus on change and project management centered on organizational and stakeholder impact. In addition, you will create, manage and continuously improve procurement policy, process and programs to standardize, streamline and automate process while driving internal and supplier compliance. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a grass roots effort to implement procurement technologies and build out the supporting processes and programs as part of a newly centralized indirect procurement team. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this position will be remote until further notice. Responsibilities: Build and lead the transformation of Corporate Sourcing and Procurement through management of new policy, process, program and technology. Provide direction related to Procure-to-Pay system implementation, upgrades and continuous improvements, including but not limited to requirements definition, functional/technical design, configuration, testing, training, change management, and cutover. Provide overall project management support to P2P initiatives, including project planning, stakeholder analysis, risk/issues management, status tracking and reporting, communications, release planning, and building/facilitation of presentations. Provide ongoing support as primary contact and subject matter expert for all P2P application administration. Partner with internal stakeholders (ex. Category Managers, Finance, AP, IT, Legal, Audit, Business Units, Leadership) to continuously refine and simplify standard P2P processes to optimize user experience. Oversee relationships with technology partners and system integrators to manage, maintain, and improve the P2P technology. Responsible for communication, maintenance and enforcement of indirect spend procurement policy and programs. Design and build key controls around P2P transactions. Manage process audits and propose remediations to findings. Build, analyze, and distribute reporting based on key metrics to monitor the success of the program. Provide support to end-users and suppliers to ensure the accurate and timely processing of all requisitions, orders, and invoices. Streamline and lead the supplier onboarding and supplier adoption processes, including increasing the use of catalogs. Develop, monitor, and enhance solutions while maintaining a high quality of data, including but not limited to the high-quality supplier, category, and GL coding data quality. Required Qualifications: Minimum 6 years progressive experience in Procure to Pay/Procurement role. Minimum 4 years hands on experience using and supporting procurement technology, including Procure to Pay and Supplier portals. Bachelor's Degree in information systems, business, supply chain, or related discipline.
