Volunteers of America - National Services IT Administrator, End User Support in Eden Prairie, Minnesota

Our Eden Prairie, MN Support Center is seeking an IT Administrator, End User Support to join our team! About the Job: IT Administrator, End User Support, will be responsible for leading our efforts to provide timely technical support to our end users ensuring excellent customer service and resolution of all technical issues. IT Administrator, End User Support will monitor our ticket tracking system to ensure requests completed. In addition, the IT Administrator, End User Support will control the equipment inventory distribution, ensuring approvals, processes followed and maintaining appropriate records including capital request and creating any needed invoices. Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00 AM-5:00 PM (Full Time, Onsite) Benefit Highlights: * Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance as well as other benefits available * 403(b) Retirement Plan; * Employee Discount Program (car rental, wireless carriers, travel, uniforms, etc.) * Travel and mileage reimbursement * Career scholarships; * Quality training, continuing career education and leadership programs; * Paid Time Off Essentials: * Controls the distribution of equipment from the IT inventory and maintain proper tracking, ensuring appropriate authorizations and invoicing is completed. * Coordinate equipment installation efforts with the IT Support Specialists verifying replaced equipment is returned and appropriately decommissioned, including the removal from active directory, the salvaging of parts and wiping of data drives. * Oversee the day-to-day requests that come into the IT Help Desk; assist team to see these requests to completion. * Ensure customer service is timely and accurate on a daily basis. * Contribute to improving customer support by actively responding to queries and handling complaints. * Monitor and report on help desk team's productivity. * Focus on end user technology and end user experience - resolve all technical issues. * Work with the IT Training Specialist and other members of the team to develop documentation to assist help desk staff and end users. * Oversee the User Account Administration and Reconciliation process for both equipment and end users with our MSP PrimeCare. * Other duties as assigned by the Chief Information and Technology Officer, not specifically listed in this job description. Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. * Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or relevant field preferred. * Proven work experience as a Technician in an Active Directory environment required. * Hands-on experience with help desk and remote access software * Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Productivity Tools * Solid technical background with an ability to give instructions to a non-technical audience. * Customer service oriented with a problem-solving attitude. * Excellent written and verbal communications skills. * Experience troubleshooting, configuring and repairing workstations, laptops and mobile devices. * Ability to utilize computers and other electronic devices for tasks such as timekeeping, in-servicing and documentation.
