Volunteers of America National Services (VOANS) is seeking a Director of Health Plan Operations for our Eden Prairie, MN office. Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00 AM-5:00 PM Salary: $100,000-120,000 (based on experience) About the Job: Leads all aspects of PACE Health Plan Operations partnership with each PACE Regional Executive/Executive Director and VOANS Finance and Accounting team. Employees may be eligible for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness program * Pension Plan Essentials: * Assists VP of PACE Operations, Sr. Director of PACE Development and SVP of Healthcare in program and business development in regards to RFP development, applications, program approval for payment and fiscal soundness. * Assists in the development and implementation of start-up plans for new PACE Organizations working closely with cross functional team members * Develops the highest level of collaboration and back office support for Senior CommUnity Care PACE Organizations * Collaborate and facilitate external vendor and strategic partnerships related to Senior Community Care PACE Organizations * Provide direction and maintains effective systems for: o Provider contracting and provider relations. o Claims management and administration. o Health Information Systems. o IBNR management and reporting. * Manages the relationships with claims, electronic health records, and other health plan operation vendors. * Partner with counterparts in other VOANS service lines to ensure appropriate consistency in practice. * Participate in the program development activities, including RFP development, applications, and program approval * Assist in the Health Plan Operations development for new VOANS co-sponsored Senior Community Care PACE Organizations. * Communicate and cooperate with other members of the PACE Leadership Team. Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Communications or related field. * Three (3) years PACE operations or Health Plan Operations experience. * Experience with State and Federal regulations in regards to PACE. * Experience with successful regulatory compliance. Preferred Qualifications * A Master's degree in Business Administration is strongly preferred. * Experience with claims processing and administration preferred. * Experience in proposal and grant writing highly preferred.
