We are looking for someone with these qualities plus survey field experience to fill our seasonal Survey Crew Chief position. This position performs services in the field and office requiring specialized technical abilities in the preparation of plans and operation of a survey crew tasked with various municipal construction activities. This position is responsible for employing checks to maintain a high degree of accuracy and detecting/relating any potential construction issues to the City Surveyor. Duties include, but are not limited to: operating various types of surveying equipment such as Robotic Total Station, GPS, levels, and data-collection equipment; performing technical survey duties; documenting and maintaining daily survey notes and construction logs; and more!
