Job Description

EPS is looking for a Technical Illustrator for our Information Management Service team located in our Eatontown New Jersey office.

Requirements

Requires 6+ years of experience as a technical illustrator, including – providing advice on format, lettering sizes and styles and their effective use, including appropriate treatment to achieve desired audience reaction. Requires additional experience, which demonstrates the ability to design, plan, produce illustrations of different subjects using a variety of artistic styles and techniques including computer graphics and the ability to draw freehand or with drawing instruments.

Working knowledge of one or more of the following tools is required: PTC IsoDraw, PTC Creo Illustrate, Adobe Illustrator, Visio, 3DS Max and other graphic illustration applications utilized for the development of technical manuals, Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETMs), and training manuals. Experience with developing CAD, 3D animations, and/or 3D models and using tools such as AutoCAD is beneficial. Experience developing DoD technical documentation, including Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETMs) in accordance with specifications such as S1000D, MIL-STD-3001 or other DoD specifications and standards preferred.

Will work with the project managers to plan illustration tasking for multiple projects. Will provide leadership and expert guidance to less experienced illustrators.

Education: A bachelor’s degree in Illustration, Graphic Design, Mechanical Design or equivalent is preferred

Candidate must be willing to obtain a Secret Clearance
