Job Overview:

Asthe BusinessDevelopmentDirector,you’llbe responsiblefoproviding strategic sales initiatives.Engaging inmarketplace sales activity and workingclosely with Market Leaders, operational Executives and the Marketing Department on lead generation, salesactivitiesand proposal generation. The role requires superior planning,communicationand business development skills together with the ability to effectively collaborate with various internal senior associates to effectively close sales and achieve targets.

This role is based in our NJ/PA High-rise market servicing the Philadelphia, Northern NJ, and Jersey Shore markets.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the ongoing development and implementationofnew client development.
  • Execute oursales strategytoobtain residentialassociation management contractsthatmeet theFirstService Residential client‐type strategy.
  • Assistin the growth of current market territories by attending and planning business development meetings asrequested.
  • Manage and directlyparticipatein the sales process; deliver sales presentations to prospective clients.
  • Continually seek out innovative ways to communicate our value to prospects and existing clients.
  • Monitor competition and keep on top of industry trends; report findings to senior leadership team.
  • Manage sales process throughutilizationof CRM (Dynamics) entering and updating lead/opportunityinformation, documents, generation of sales follow up schedule, and lead/opportunity communications.
  • Collaborate with marketing team andparticipatein preparation of proposal (RFP) responses.
  • Identifygrowth opportunities within existing managed communities; manage and lead the internal sales process.
  • Proficient and effective at giving client presentations and closing deals.
  • Coordinate and/orparticipatein the strategy of sale presentations including internal preparation of materials, team member attendance, pre and post meeting conference calls.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree plus a minimum of 3 years sales experience in aservice-relatedindustry
  • CRM experience (Microsoft Dynamics preferred)
  • Demonstrates strong and effective customer service and relationship building skills:
  • Ability to be able toimmediatelydevelop rapport with a variety of personalities and “types” of clients and potential clients during and after the sales process
  • Ability to be “of service” to all internal customers, effectively working with multiple styles and influences that present unique needs and demands on the sales process
  • Attend both internal and external business development meetings and / or events, which may include but is not limited to; industry conferences and meetings and company hosted business development events
  • Possess excellent grammar,spellingand proofreading skills
  • Demonstrate good common sense, sound judgment, and a high ethical bar.
  • Consistently perform athigh levelsin a fast‐paced ever‐changing work environment.
  • Ability to work independently; capableof takingownership of assigned tasks andto anticipatework requirements.
  • Business development and/or operations experience in residential condominium management or a related industry is preferred.
  • This position is one of “active” selling and has the responsibility to attend both internal and external business development meetings and / or events, which may include but is not limited to; industry conferences and meetings and company hosted business development events. This may require travel and overnight stays.

Compensation :$80,000 base plus commission and bonus based on sales volume
