We are seeking positive, energetic candidates to join our dock staff in delivering first-class customer service to our marina and campground guests. Overview:

Each dock hand is responsible for carrying-out the operations of the marina. The marina is a service-driven business; therefore, the customer must be the main focus and driving force behind every task that takes place from daily dock walks, grounds maintenance, and restroom sanitation to physically interfacing the customer at the fuel dock, campgrounds, or anywhere else on-or-off the grounds. As a result, the right candidate will be professional, courteous, and able to deliver the ultimate experience for our guests. While the primary focus of the dock hand's responsibilities focus on the customer, safety is also of the utmost importance. Dock hands shall carryout their duties in a manner that assures safety for themselves, the customer, and marina property.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Perform daily opening and closing job duties.

  • Perform grounds clean up and general property maintenance.

  • Perform all duties associated with the fuel dock.

  • Provide outstanding, friendly customer service to all customers and guests.

  • Clean restrooms, docks, walkways, sidewalks, equipment, and all other areas of the facility.

  • Follow all safety and compliance regulations.

  • Contribute towards a healthy, safe, clean, and fun work environment.

  • Exhibit a proactive, professional, honest, trustworthy, and strong work ethic.

  • Assist and support special events or projects that may take place outside of normal operating hours.

  • Willingness to learn.

  • Exhibit character that will lend themselves to a culture of qualities that possess and display a proactive, professional, honest, trustworthy and strong work ethic.

  • Cashiering duties as required.

  • Anything else needed or ask upon.

What Does a Qualified Candidate Look Like?

  • Ability to learn line handling skills including ability to tie various knots, toss, and cleat lines.

  • Unlimited or unimpaired ability to walk, bend, stoop, climb and work safely around water or on a ladder.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

  • Ability to use a POS system, PC, and radio.

  • Skilled in the use of a golf cart or other motorized vehicle.

  • Faculty to operate small hand held and powered tools.

  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend work orders

  • Ability to complete multiple tasks quickly and independently.

  • Ability to work outside in varying weather conditions

  • Full weekend availability

  • Valid driver's license and ability to pass background/ drug screening
