Title: Accounting Assistant Manager Work Location: Eaton, OH FLSA Status: Exempt Reports to: Accounting Manager Pay: 65K - 70K OVERVIEW: A global manufacturing company is seeking a Assistant Manager to perform and coordinate accounting functions at their main factory in the US. The responsibilities include supervising AP/AR staff, preparing financial statements and conducting financial analysis, reconciling account balances and bank statements, assisting the general ledger and month-end/year-end close procedures, and providing assistance with audits. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO: * Coordinate and perform accounting functions to maintain the general ledger in compliance with U.S. GAAP and company policy and procedures. * Supervise staffs and ensure accurate and timely AP/AR transaction processes. * Maintain and reconcile balance sheet and general ledger journal entries. * Perform monthly and quarterly close processes and prepare financial statement analysis and reports. * Assist with the audit process by completing requested schedules and working closely with external and internal auditors. * Resolve account discrepancies and issues of non-compliance. * Participate in the budgeting and forecasting processes. * Other duties requested by Management. QUALIFICATIONS: * Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related; or equivalent combination of education and experience. * 3+ years of Accounting experience in manufacturing setting. * Cost Accounting Experience * Japanese Bilingual is a big plus. * SOX experience is preferred. * Experience with any manufacturing ERP systems is preferred.
