About the Job:

We are a leading managed and cloud services provider, and we provide IT support and services to customers throughout the United States based on the Microsoft technology stack. We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to manage new and ongoing projects. We are experiencing rapid growth and the Project Manager is responsible for the management of client onboarding and IT projects, including consultation, management, implementation,

configuration, and administration of applications to make improvements to meet business needs and provide valuable solutions to clients.

This role is a pure remote role and can be located anywhere in the United States, working hours are primarily Eastern Time Zone.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Leads design sessions with technical and business staff to identify project scope.

  • Creates project plans and schedules that achieve necessary cost and schedule integrations.

  • Manages the planning and estimating tasks, perform analysis and prepare reports to ensure that programs meet or exceed schedule commitments.

  • Assigns task responsibilities to engineers and/or contract workers.

  • Manages the design, development, and maintenance of detailed schedules for implementation, developmental and operational activities. 

  • Updates contractual and changes to maintain realistic, current project schedule baselines.

  • Tracks progress of projects and provides regular updates to the team.

  • Identifies, assesses, and minimizes project risk to successful project completion.

  • Participates in technical advisory roles, as required.

  • Interacts with customers at the technical and non-technical level, as required.

  • Ensures effective handoff to operations for ongoing maintenance and troubleshooting.

  • Performs other duties as assigned by President Superior consultation and organizational skills.

  • Hands-on experience with managing service desks—ConnectWise.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with customer service focused aptitude.

  • Detail-oriented individuals who are team players highly self-motivated.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in computer science, management information systems or equivalent.

  • Minimum 5 years in a business analyst/project management role in a complex business and systems environment

  • Two to five years of experience with IT background and familiar with technical terms or know where to find reference.

  • Demonstrated skills with project management tools and methodologies, software development lifecycle, and problem solving.

  • Experience with tracking projects using Microsoft Project or other Project Management tools.

  • PMP Certification preferred but not required.

  • Must have dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, power tools, and other computer components.

  • Experience in handling US client is a must.
