IntelAssist Front-end Developer (US Based Client) in Eastwood, Philippines

Job Description:

The Front-End Web Developer will be an integral part of our development team, focusing on creating responsive and efficient front-end web applications. This role requires a keen eye for design, a deep understanding of web technologies, and a passion for creating user-friendly web interfaces. The ideal candidate will have experience with the latest web standards and frameworks and be committed to staying at the forefront of front-end development practices.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • UI/UX Development: Develop user-facing features with a focus on user experience and design aesthetics. Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.

  • Responsive Design: Build reusable code and libraries for future use. Ensure all web applications are responsive and adaptive to various devices and screen sizes.

  • Optimization: Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability. Implement optimized front-end solutions with attention to web standards, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with the UI/UX designer and back-end developers to bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation, taking an active role on both sides and defining how the application looks and works.

  • Testing and Debugging: Conduct website testing to ensure functionality across all browsers and platforms. Debug issues that arise with the performance of the website.

  • Documentation and Maintenance: Create and maintain software documentation. Update and refine website content and code.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Design, or a related field, or equivalent experience

  • 2 years' work experience in front-end website development

  • Proven experience as a Front-End Developer or similar role.

  • Proficiency in web markup, including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.

  • Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools.

  • Experience with at least one of the following front-end frameworks: React, Angular, Vue.js.

  • Understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.

  • Good understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that the application will adhere to them.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong attention to detail.

  • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.

  • Time Management

  • Ability to work independently under minimal supervision.

  • Experience working for a US company is a plus.
