Salary
  • Starting salary - $57,960.00
  • After Graduation - $58,760.00
  • After Field Training - up to $63,500

Certified/Lateral officers salary negotiable.

Retirement
  • Pension after 22 years of service is 50% of sworn member's salary - 55% after 25 years of service
  • Optional 457 Retirement Plan (Deferred compensation) which can be used to supplement income upon retirement.
Hiring Process

All applicants who are offered employment as an Easton Police Officer will be required to sign a four-year employment contract prior to attending the Police Academy.

The following steps must be completed by each applicant successfully before being considered for employment:

  2. Physical Agility Test
  3. Oral Interview Board
  4. Background Investigation
  5. Pre-Employment Drug Screening
  6. Polygraph Examination
  7. Psychiatric Evaluation
