Xylem Field Service Technician - Electrical in Eastern Creek, Australia
Xylem has an exciting opportunity for a trade qualified electrician , this person will have a passion for customer service in the water and wastewater industry. This role is part of Xylems National Treatment MC&I Team and the suitable candidate will be based in the Sydney region.
To be successful in this role you will be a trade qualified electrician with a keen interest in the treatment, monitoring, control and instrumentation in the water and wastewater industry. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working as an electrician and will have a reasonable level of mechanical fitting skills. This role requires a high level of detail, great attitude, solid time management with exceptional communication skills (both written and spoken).
The role requires a high degree of travel across New South Wales as part of a National Treatment MC&I Team, the role will also require interstate travel to support Xylem customers.
This role will see you:
Carry out routine and emergency service/repair work on various Xylem products
Primary focus is Xylem’s UV & Ozone systems and associated equipment and products.
Perform chemical cleaning and service on Xylem’s Diffused Aeration systems.
Test and inspect various Xylem MC&I products, including providing condition reports and recommendation to Xylem customer
Follow QA procedures and Safety requirements
Provide timely and accurate advice and support to staff and customers on service, workshop and product related issues both orally and in writing.
