System One Utilities Supervisor in East Windsor, New Jersey

SUMMARY

  • Perform periodic maintenance of utilities equipment.

  • Responsible for HVAC, water system and Boiler area day to day activities & take care of operation and maintenance.

  • Coordinate any modification activities as required based on observation or guideline needs.

  • Perform manufacturing and facility equipment maintenance, installations and repairs as needed by customers or determined through routine audits including but not limited to carpentry, electrical, plumbing (boilers, chillers, dust collector, air handling unit, fire alarm system etc) and light construction.

  • Work with various departments to troubleshoot and resolve issues.

  • Complete emergency repairs as needed.

  • Complete preventative maintenance on equipment and building systems as established in department procedures and audits and required by regulatory agencies.

  • Maintain inventory of spare parts, consumables and change tooling equipment.

  • Monitor Facilities and Manufacturing operating equipment daily, troubleshooting problems and inefficiencies and recommending possible solutions.

  • Coordinate the services of outside vendors when necessary. Identify existing and potential operational problems and inefficiencies and recommend resolutions.

  • Assist in developing and maintaining required documentation including but not limited to blueprints, plans, and permits according to Company SOP's and the requirements of external parties.

    QUALIFICATIONS

  • BS degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering required.

  • 10+ years of experience, preferrable pharmaceutical manufacturing.

  • Black Seal High Pressure Boiler Operation preferred.

  • Ability to read and interpret Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing Diagrams.

  • Thorough working knowledge of relevant systems and equipment and the related regulatory requirements needed; mastery of more than one trade required.
