Comfort Systems USA (Syracuse) Plumber, Plumber/Helper in East Syracuse, New York

NOTE: License is not required. However, candidate must be able to make their own way to assigned job site(s). Plumber - One who installs and repairs the pipes and fittings of water supply, sanitary, or heating systems. Studies building plans to design the best system to meet specific codes. Assembles and installs valves, pipe fittings, and pipes composed of iron, steel, brass, glass, and various types of plastic. Services and maintains said systems within a building.

Plumbing Helper/Laborer Works directly under a licensed plumber. Assists and helps plumber with the installation of water supplies, sanitary, or heating systems.

Pipefitter One who is responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining piping systems for heating and cooling, high-pressure transport, oil and chemicals, natural gas, and more. They read design specifications to cut and weld pipes, perform routine inspections, and lay pipework bases upon their knowledge of the system and its requirements.
