Description

Summary of Position-Tasks and Essential Job Functions

The Laboratory Technician is responsible for analysis of raw materials using the FTIR, pH meter, pycnometer, melting point apparatus, etc. and completion of required documentation.

Essential Job Functions:·

The employee is responsible for analysis of bulk product and finished product using the viscometer, pH meter, pycnometer, penetrometer, etc. and completion of required documentation.

· The employee issues the release documentation for raw material and bulk product.

· The employee performs Job Receipt and Job Closure.

· The employee conducts a laboratory audit of the production lines and completion of required documentation.

· High Pressure Liquid Chromatograph (HPLC). · The employee performs calibration on all equipment.· The employee reviews all formulas prior to issuance to production.

· In the course of performing their job the employee is required to attend two (2) safety meetings at a frequency of every month. They must follow all safety and GMP requirements of the facility and insure all Personal Protection Equipment is used dependent on the job at all times.

· Labeling of incoming raw materials with GHS labels.

· Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor

· Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
