Position Summary

We are currently looking for a Sales Compensation Analyst to work a flexible hybrid work schedule out of any of our major locations. This position supports the calculation, reconciliation and reporting of monthly and quarterly sales results by plan deployment for the Water Solutions and Services Division. You will act as support to Sales Compensation Manger and Sales Managers on process queries to reinforce consistent and equitable principles as per the sales plan documents. In addition to supporting the monthly and quarterly incentive process, you will assist with internal controls and ongoing compliance with the reporting tool as it relates to the SAP system of record to assure accurate data is being reported.

Core Responsibilities and Tasks

  • Assist with planning, administration and communication for the monthly and quarterly incentive Compensation plans, including summary reporting to Senior Management.

  • Support reporting and analysis for Compensation Plans, including verifying data integrity and implementing processes and procedures to ensure ongoing accuracy.

  • Provide Incentive Plan oversight, compensation analytics, communication and accurate maintenance of underlying data, including ongoing maintenance of Sales Comp Systems for administrative changes.

  • Assist with ongoing compliance with incentive compensation regulatory requirements globally, including incentive compensation policies and procedures and risk balancing.

  • Research and facilitate the resolution of sales commission related issues. Identify and report systemic or recurring problems.

  • Support sales team members by responding to inquiries, providing report training and investigating data and other potential compensation errors.

  • Develop and deliver regular and ad-hoc sales compensation reports and dashboards to provide insights to sales leadership and stakeholders.

  • Collaborate with finance and HR teams to ensure accurate and timely commission calculations and payouts.

  • Continuously evaluate and enhance sales compensation processes and systems to improve efficiency, accuracy, and transparency.

Position Requirements

Required: BS/BA degree

  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to work with large datasets and conduct complex data analysis.

  • Ability to understand the sales process including CRM systems within an organization and communicate effectively with sales reps, managers, and directors

  • Ability to learn new software tools, i.e. mapping and territory management tools

  • Strong attention to detail and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

  • Demonstrated ability to work successfully both independently and as part of a team.

  • Able to establish strong working relationships with colleagues and clients and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Client focused, proactive, and results oriented

Preferred:

  • Two to four years experience in compensation or financial analyst role

  • Xactly or other sales compensation tool experience

  • Exposure to Power BI and Microsoft Access or other relational databases
