General Dynamics Mission Systems Software Integration Engineer Entry Level in East Port Orchard, Washington

Basic Qualifications Requires a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Agile experience preferred. CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required within a reasonable period of time. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required. Responsibilities for this Position ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES: As a Software Integration Engineer for the Nosis Program, you'll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for creating software integrated solutions for various secure Windows and Linux environments primarily using a variety of scripting, networking, domain configuration, mobile architecture, database tools, and quality assurance / software testing. We encourage you to apply if you have any of these preferred skills or experiences: Experience with Container/Container Orchestration software (i.e. Docker, Kubernetes) Experience with Infrastructure as Code processes and provisioning (i.e. Terraform, Ansible) Experience with Cloud Infrastructure Services (i.e. AWS) What sets you apart: Experience designing, specifying requirements, inspecting, verifying, and testing undersea systems, and systems of systems. Demonstrated understanding of business aspects and can be a strategic thinker exhibiting an exceptional degree of ingenuity, creativity, resourcefulness, and action. Balanced technical and programmatic background to be a decision maker on program technical issues. Strong attention to detail, organization, and the ability to trouble shoot complex issues.
