Job Description

Metropolitan Management Group (MMG) is looking for Maintenance Technicians to join our team! If you have experience or training in residential or commercial maintenance repair, this may be the job for you! MMG has several properties in the Harrisburg area.

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the residential apartments and supporting facilities as assigned to achieve the highest level of resident satisfaction and retention. This position requires the ability to follow detailed instructions in order to execute repairs, installations and overall maintenance of projects on an assigned property.

Residential maintenance repair and service to include general cleanup of the apartment community, including apartment turns as assigned, upkeep with grounds and parking lot, general work orders for residents, painting and repair of apartments for turns and various maintenance repair tasks using hand tools and small power tools. Experience in electrical, plumbing, appliances, painting/drywall, carpentry, heating and air handling systems is a plus. The candidate will be service oriented and be able to perform tasks in a professional, orderly and timely manner. Maintenance must follow safety regulations and standards at all times and all MMG policies and procedures.

REQUIREMENTS

  • One year of prior related experience is preferred but not required.
  • Trade school training a plus.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
