Maybury Material Handling Installation Manager in East Longmeadow, Massachusetts

Installation Manager Description Maybury Material Handling is looking for a motivated individual with strong leadership skills to directly supervise our Installation team members, including monitoring installation job progress, and adherence to safety protocols and quality standards. Maybury sells and installs a wide range of products such as industrial racking systems, conveyors, modular offices, overhead cranes, mezzanines, dock and door equipment, and much more. The key duties and responsibilities for this position will include: Developing quotes for labor and miscellaneous materials on material handling installation projects. This may include accompanying Account Managers to customer job sites. Reviewing installation jobs to determine appropriate time frame, funding, procedures for accomplishing the project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of the project. Providing Installation team members with job-related instructions and information prior to the start of each project as well as assisting them in resolving job challenges throughout the project. Inspecting installation jobs in progress and completed jobs to verify that specifications and quality are met. Mentoring and training Installation team members in the field as needed to develop their skills, experience, and product knowledge. Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED and at least five years of related experience, preferably in the material handling industry. Proven management experience in a fast-paced, project-based environment and strong leadership skills required. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical drawings, building/bid specifications, financial reports, statistical data and technical procedures. Intermediate computer skills in Windows and Internet Explorer; Microsoft Excel; Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Word. Some knowledge of AutoCAD is helpful but not required. Valid driver\'s license and good driving history is required. Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 25 lbs.
