Transportation Research Center, Inc. Test Conductor II in East Liberty, Ohio

Purpose Test Conductor 2 shall be responsible for planning, conducting, and analyzing vehicle level tests. Test Conductor will work closely with engineers, managers, and researchers to create and improve test plans and report results and will lead a team to execute field tests and troubleshoot issues. Other Duties and Responsibilities (Non-Essential Functions) Travel to off-site customers and test locations. Develop work descriptions based upon customers' needs and knowledge of the processes involved Develop and coordinate project budgets and proposals based upon customer objectives and supporting BU inputs Communicate test plans, proposals, non-conformances, and project status to internal and external customers Assist test engineers and technical operations in accomplishing project tasks Make technical decisions with minimal supervision Present proposals and report test results before customer representatives Support the program planning, logistics, and scheduling processes as required to enable effective and efficient system test and integration Identify and implement improvements to existing workflows and test procedures Build automation scripts to reduce schedule time and resources for recurring tests Create and maintain dashboards to display results and status. Generate and present concise test reports highlighting areas of strength and weakness. Support TRC Inc.'s Quality and EH&S (Environmental, Health, and Safety) efforts Qualifications Bachelor's degree in engineering is required 2+ years technical testing and system validation experience preferred Basic understanding of data acquisition systems and instrumentation Familiarity with vehicle systems and subsystems Excellent organizational and communication skills General knowledge of computers, including, G-suite programs, basic script writing and troubleshooting, word processing and data analysis software Proficient in technical report writing Proficient project management skills Flexibility with work hours during busy test periods. Must be willing to work evenings and weekends as needed - including AM and PM shifts.
