Position Summary(Basic Job Function)

This is a temporary or an on-call position. Provides technical support. Responsibilities may include computer programming or operations; research support; medical patient care; technical equipment maintenance, repair, fabrication or operation; or other technical support functions.

Unit Position Summary

The Department of Entomology seeks applicants for Summer 2024 to assist in field and laboratory research related to entomology. Duties will include following established protocols to set up experiments in the laboratory and/or field, collect and enter data. The applicants do not need a background in entomology but must be willing to learn laboratory and/or field skills. The applicants may be driving in university owned vehicles. Duties will also include effective communication with team members. Valid Vehicle Operators License Required

Desired Qualifications

Ability to work outdoors or in a lab. Good communication skills are highly desirable. Organized and punctual.
