Position Summary

The successful candidate will work with a project team and a statewide network to assess the effectiveness of the Out of School Time program administered through the state of Michigan. Primary roles will be:

  • Conduct focus groups both online and in person with out of school staff, teachers, etc.

  • Perform data cleaning, management, analysis, reporting and visualization

  • Communicating with community partners including state government, non-profit agencies, local programs and communities, on program monitoring and outcomes

  • Report writing and presenting to various stakeholders

  • Other duties as assigned to carry out the scope of the project.

Required Degree

Masters -in community development, economic development

Minimum Requirements

  • Valid driver's license

  • Willingness to travel in-state to conduct focus groups and other project related travel

  • High level of interpersonal and organizational skills

  • Excellent writing skills

Desired Qualifications

  • Understanding of statistical software such as SPSS and/or mapping tools such as Tableau

  • Experience in Microsoft programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

  • Work experience with community groups and organizations

  • Understand familial dynamics
