Position Summary(Basic Job Function)

This is a temporary or an on-call position. Provides professional support. Responsibilities may include general business, science, medical, agricultural or other professional support functions. Term: Temps can work two (2) nine (9) month terms with a week break in service in between and at the end of the second term terminate for three (3) months or switch to an on-call. On-Call allowed to work 1039 hours in any twelve (12) month period.

Unit Position Summary

This is an on-call position allowed to work 1039 hours in any twelve (12) month period.  Performs a wide range of customer service and clerical support to the Power & Water Department.  Provides top-notch customer service to visitors, guests, and callers.  Ensures all visitors are checked in and checked out using visitor information system, scans and enters daily logs, prepares routine reports, processes departmental accounts payable invoices and requisitions, compiles and prepares materials, sort and distribute campus and US mail, coordinate deliveries, orders supplies, maintains confidential records, runs errands, completes project assignments, assists with scheduling events, and performs other duties as assigned.  This position will engage in high performing, leading edge practices, valuing people, partners and stewardship.  At IPF, we are committed to fostering an equitable, inclusive culture; engaging and hiring a diverse workforce.

Desired Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

Minimum two (2) years of experience in customer service

Knowledge of Microsoft Teams, Excel, Outlook, and other Microsoft programs

Motivated self-starter and able to complete tasks in a timely manner with minimal supervision

Able to work independently and identify tasks needed to be completed without supervision

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

Dependable, reliable, and detail-oriented

Time management skills

 

Desired Qualifications:

Minimum two (2) years Microsoft Teams, Excel, Outlook experience

Basic finance and accounting experience

Special Instructions
