Michigan State University(MSU) Assistant Professor Research - Fixed in East Lansing, Michigan

Position Summary

The Waters laboratory seeks to hire a Research-Assistant Professor to study gene regulation and cell signaling in Vibrio cholerae. The preferred candidate will have at least 4 years of postdoctoral experience with expertise in bacterial genetics, cell signaling, mass spectrometry, TN-Seq, preferably in the bacterium Vibrio cholerae.  The candidate should have an active publication record with multiple first-author papers in high quality microbiology journals. The position will contribute to research projects in the Waters laboratory centered on studying phage defense, gene regulation, or cell signaling. 

The position will start in September of 2024, with a salary to be determined based on experience.
