Atlantic Health System Materials Representative, Full Time, Atlantic Distribution Center in East Hanover, New Jersey

Atlantic Health is looking for a materials representative at the Atlantic Distribution Center (ADC) located in East Hanover, NJ. The ideal candidate will have experience in picking, packing, shipping and providing logistical services to Atlantic Health System in our distribution center.

Principal Accountabilities of all Materials Representatives at the Atlantic Distribution Center:

  1. Performs manual and clerical duties related to shipping, receiving, inspecting, storing, issuing and delivering a variety of materials, equipment and supplies.

  2. Counts, weighs or measures incoming or outgoing items to compare identifying information and variety against bills of lading, invoices, orders or other records.

  3. Examines incoming/outgoing shipments for damage or shortages and corresponds with shipper to rectify.

  4. Completes paperwork or forms required for documentation.

  5. Determines method of picking, packing and shipment utilizing knowledge of shipping procedures, routes and rates.

  6. Operates material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks or dollies to move stock or reorganize storage.

  7. Performs work under direct supervision and handles basic issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.

  8. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Schedule:

Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 12 PM - 8 PM

Saturday, Sunday 10AM - 6 PM

Monday, Tuesday Off

Required:

  1. High School Diploma or equivalent.

    Preferred:

  2. 1 year of experience working in Material Handling or relevant area.

Required:

  1. High School Diploma or equivalent.

Preferred:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Logistics or relevant area.
