Description

We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Administrative Assistant based in the Parsippany, NJ area. The successful candidate will be primarily focused on providing sales support, making travel arrangements, and handling expense reports. The role also encompasses general administrative duties, requiring basic office skills.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive sales support to facilitate business operations.

• Arrange travel itineraries and accommodations, ensuring all travel logistics run smoothly.

• Prepare, review, and submit expense reports accurately and promptly.

• Provide general administrative support, such as managing correspondence, organizing files, and maintaining calendars.

• Ensure efficient and effective administrative information and assistance.

• Coordinate and communicate effectively with other departments to ensure smooth business operations.

• Maintain confidentiality and protect operations by keeping information confidential.

• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes.

• Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.

Requirements • Prior experience in the pharmaceutical industry is desirable

• Proven administrative or assistant experience

• Knowledge of office management systems and procedures

• Proficiency in MS Office (especially MS Excel and MS Outlook)

• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong organizational and planning skills

• Ability to multitask and prioritize work

• Understanding of basic office duties and tasks

• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred

• Ability to work in a team environment and contribute to team goals

• Must be able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
