Adecco US, Inc. FAA Shot Peen Operator 2nd Shift in East Granby, Connecticut

Adecco is seeking experienced Shot Peen Machine Operators for a local client located in East Granby, CT. These are Temp to Hire opportunities. Pay is $22 - $30/ hr, depending on experience.

Position Details:

2nd Shift 3:00pm-11:30pm Mon-Fri plus 12% Differential

Your Expertise:

· 1-3 years in aerospace environment desirable

· Good mathematical skills

· Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and technical documents

· Strong attention to detail, ability to multitask, good communications skills

Your Challenge:

· Perform a variety of duties to plan, set up, mask, and spray parts to meet production requirements.

· Mask and/or grit blast part to prepare for coating.

· Use judgment in determining proper flow and speed of spray for the best results and compliance with all specifications.

· Operate equipment used to pre-stress aircraft components and to compress surface areas and strengthen material to meet production schedules, complying with customer requirements and FAA regulations.

· Interpret work orders, engine manuals, and blueprints to determine information such as type of operations, and sequence of operations required.

· Obtain laboratory approval of new sprays and processes, as required.

· Follow established procedures and parameters to meet customer requirements.

· Monitor and inspect work in progress to ensure acceptable operational standards are maintained and that product meets all specifications and requirements.

· Oversee booth inspection processes.

Education/Background Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent required. This position is a safety sensitive position. Applicant must comply with all applicable FAA and DOT drug and alcohol testing rules.

Pay Details: $22.00 to $30.00 per hour
