Adecco US, Inc. FAA CNC Machinist VTL 1st Shift in East Granby, Connecticut

Adecco is seeking an experienced CNC VTL Machine Operator for a local client based out of East Granby, CT. This is a temp to hire opportunity.

Position Details:

· 1st shift (7:00am-3:30pm)

· Pay: $20-$35/hr (depending on experience)

Your Expertise:

· 2-5 years of experience machining in an aerospace environment

· Experience in machining plasma coatings and K/E seals on rotating aircraft parts

· Strong mathematical skills and knowledge of GD&T

· Familiar with Statistical Process Control (SPC)

· Willing to learn basic CNC Programming

Your Challenge:

· Set-up and operate VTL machines for pre-machining and finish machining for required operations or the repair of aircraft parts.

· Work from process traveler, blueprints, parts drawings, manuals, specifications, operations sheets and verbal directions to determine proper dimensions and tolerances of finished part, sequence of operations, and set-up requirements for machining functions

· Verify dimensions using standard measuring instruments, such as micrometers, depth gage, height gage, and vernier

· Work with engineering department regarding material conditions, best positioning of part, tool pressure, etc. as required

Education/Background Requirements:

· High school diploma or equivalent required

· This position is a safety sensitive position. Applicant must comply with all applicable FAA and DOT drug and alcohol testing rules.

Pay Details: $20.00 to $35.00 per hour
